Tunisia: annual deficit of port of Rades has exceeded USD 300 million

The annual deficit of the port of Rades has exceeded USD 300 million, the President of the National Chamber of Vessel Consignees under the Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA) said, quoting a report by the World Bank.

Speaking Sunday on Express Fm, he explained that this deficit is due, among other things, to the waiting time for ships, which cost 7 thousand dollars a day, and to demurrage charges.
