The National Committee in charge of granting subsidies under the Agricultural Investment Promotion Agency (APIA), on Thursday, approved the financing of 10 investment projects for a total value of TND 27.8 million.
These projects are spread over 10 governorates, namely Tataouine, Bizerte, Zaghouan, Ben Arous, Beja, Gabes, Nabeul, Kairouan, Sfax and Medenine, according to APIA.
With regard to land loans, the Committee approved two loans of 300,000 dinars for an area of 13 hectares in the governorates of Nabeul and Sidi Bouzid.
The value of approved private agricultural investments increased by 10.3% to TND 636.2 million in 2022, compared to TND 576.9 million in the same period of 2021, according to statistics published by APIA at the end of January 2023. These approved investments benefited from subsidies amounting to TND 166.3 million.
