As part of the promotion of entrepreneurship, considered one of the solutions to absorb unemployment, the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (APII) is currently monitoring the implementation of several projects in parts of the country.
These projects whose number amounts to 129 cost a 132.5 million Tunisian dinars (MTD). An informed source in APII told us these projects will generate 2,498 job positions.
58 projects will emerge in regions of the South and Midwest. The cost of these projects is estimated at 49.8 MTD and they will generate 1,193 job positions. 71 projects will be implemented in the regions of North and Centre, with an investment of 82.7 MTD.
Also according to our source, these projects involve many sectors including services and industry.
These projects are the result of work done during the two business fairs held recently in the country’s South and Central West (November 25/26, 2015), the North East and Centre (May 24 and 25, 2016).
