Last February saw the creation of 350 new companies at the one stop desk, including 136 which were set up in 48 hours, the latest figures released by the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (French: APII) show.
Ninety-two businesses were set up in three days, 74 within 4 days and the rest (48 companies) in a period exceeding four days.
However, a drop was reported in comparison with January (384 businesses) as well as December (405) and November 2019 (360), the APII said.
APII’s one stop desk was set up in March 2018 to facilitate procedures for the legal constitution of companies.
It is made up of 5 people who provide assistance and guidance for investors in the process of setting up their businesses.
