The company L’Accumulateur Tunisien Assad announced that it has adhered to an amnesty offer related to a customs violation.
This violation, which was the subject of a report drawn up on October 9, 2023, was already mentioned in paragraph VIII of the notes to the financial statements for the 2024 fiscal year.
The Court of First Instance in Kasserine had sentenced the company, on July 9, 2025, in absentia, to a fine of 49.9 million dinars.
Thanks to adherence to the amnesty, this penalty has been revised and reduced to 2.8 million dinars, payable in 20 quarterly installments of 142,570 dinars each. The company states that it has already paid the first two installments.
Through this regularization, L’Accumulateur Tunisien Assad confirms its commitment to transparency, compliance with regulatory obligations, and the peaceful continuation of its activities.
