Tunisia: ATB’s reports NBI up 13% to 328 million dinars in 2022

The Arab Tunisian Bank (ATB) achieved a net banking income of 328.3 million dinars in 2022, against 290.4 million in 2021, up 13%.

The banking operating income reached 672.2 million dinars, against 602.7 million a year earlier, with an increase of 11.5%, while the banking operating expenses reached 343.9 million dinars, up 10%.

Loans net of provisions and reserved agios reached 5 449 million dinars at the end of December 2022 against 5 156 million at the end of December 2021, with a rise of 293.6 million.

As for customer deposits, they stood at 6,220 million dinars, against 5,902 million at the end of December 2021, or a growth of 318.6 million dinars. The volume of sight deposits amounted to 2,034 million dinars, against 2,045 million at the end of December 2021.

Savings deposits stood at 1,512 million dinars, against 1,446 million dinars as of 31 December 2021, up 4.6%. The bank’s operating expenses reached 215.8 million dinars at the end of December 2022 against 205.7 million dinars at the end of December 2021, an increase of 4.9%.
