The banks have agreed in principle to contribute to the financing of the state budget for 2022, president of the Tunisian Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions Mohamed Agrebi said Thursday.
He explained in a statement to “African Manager” that the banks at their meeting with the Minister of Finance last month had expressed their willingness to contribute to finding financing solutions.
“The financing of the state budget in the current circumstances is a national duty,” said the bankers.
