BNA Bank has just published its business indicators for the first half of 2023. The bank’s income from banking operations reached 1,058 million dinars at the end of June, compared to 851 million dinars a year earlier, up 24.4%.
Banking operating expenses went up by 166 million dinars, from 403 million dinars to 569 million dinars between June 2022 and June 2023.
As a result, net banking income reached 489 million dinars at the end of June, compared to 448 million dinars at the same date last year, up 9.2%.
Customer loans outstanding, net of provisions and reserved agios, reached 14,072 million dinars, compared with 13,576 million dinars at June 30, 2002, an increase of 3.7%.
Customer deposits increased by 632 million dinars between June 2022 and June 2023, up 6.2%, to 10,784 million dinars.
The portfolio of commercial and investment securities rose from 3,326 million dinars at June 30, 2022 to 4,906 million dinars at June 30, 2023, an increase of 47.5%.
