A “BIC” pen plant will be set up in the Northern city of Bizerte in 2013 by means of investments worth about 12 million Euros (nearly 24 million dinars).
BIC Group and the Competitiveness Pole of Bizerte signed a relevant agreement at the headquarters of the Industry Ministry.
The agreement provides for the purchase of a building land for the setting up of a pen plant for the Africa and Middle East region. Industry Minister Mohamed Lamine Chakhari expressed will to speed up the building and achievement of this plant.
According to BIC group officials, this new plant is meant to increase the Group production network and better meet consumers’ demand in this region.
