AirHelp has just published its annual ranking of the world’s best-known airlines for 2024, comparing 109 airlines for the period from January 1 to October 31, 2024.
At the top of the ranking is Brussels Airlines, which has overtaken Qatar Airways, while United Airlines completes the podium in 3rd place.
Tunisia’s Tunisair is the lowest ranked airline at 109th with a score of 3.63. It scored 4.7 for punctuality, 6 for customer opinion and 0.2 for customer service efficiency.
The other Tunisian airline in the ranking, Nouvelair, is 107th with an AirHelp score of 4.48, a punctuality score of 5.8, a customer opinion score of 7.5 and a customer service efficiency score of 0.1.
It should be noted that the calculation of the score is based on a combination of a large amount of information, ranging from factual data on airline punctuality to customer feedback based on their own flight experiences, AirHelp explains.
“We are particularly well placed to evaluate airline responses to flights that do not go as planned,” it added.
“We try to rate the most popular and well-known airlines. From a list of over 800 airlines worldwide, we have selected the most important in terms of passenger numbers and reputation. Some airlines have been excluded due to our inability to obtain data,” AirHelp pointed out.
