Tunisia: businessmen to meet their Algerian counterparts

According to the Forum of entrepreneurs (FCE), an Algerian-Tunisian business meeting organized by the World Trade Centre (WTC) will be held on March 31, 2014, in Algiers in order to strengthen bilateral partnership relations.

Organized in collaboration with a French organization facilitating international trade, the economic forum will be an opportunity to establish trade and economic relations between companies in the two countries, said the employers’ organization.

This event will bring together representatives of Algeria and Tunisia, particularly in the areas of technology, energy, transportation, telecommunications, banking, hydraulics and construction.

Tunisia was the second customer of Algeria in the Arab world in 2012 and its second largest supplier with a positive trade balance for Algeria. Imports from Algeria were close to 407 million in 2012, while its exports to neighboring country have reached a billion.
