Jamel Belhaj, CEO of the Consignment and Deposit Fund (French: CDC) told ExpressFm on Thursday that the capital of the fund has increased since its founding in 2011, adding that it has risen from 50 million dinars to 150 million dinars.
He also said that the value of citizens’ deposits exceeded 4 billion dinars.
He added that the CDC is funding a number of companies in the form of contributions, which allowed the creation of about 12 investment funds, stressing that the body often tries to play the role of leverage by increasing contributions up to 5 times.
