All arrival, departure and transit flights between Tunisian airports and those of the United Kingdom, South Africa and Australia have been suspended from December 21, until further notice, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics announced Monday.
The Ministry also specifies that people who were residing in or transiting through these countries will no longer have be able to enter Tunisia.
This decision follows changes in the epidemiological situation around the world, including the emergence of a new strain of COVID-19 in the UK.
