Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn will visit Tunisia from April 29 to 30, 2015, the EU Neighborhood Info Centre reported on Tuesday.
The purpose of the visit is to show support for Tunisia’s reform process, hold consultations on the review of the European Neighborhood Policy and sign co-operation agreements with the country.
During his visit, the Commissioner will meet President Béji Caïd Essebsi, Prime Minister Habib Essid, and civil society representatives.
He will also be a keynote speaker at a Conference entitled ‘Tunisia transformation – Cooperating with the neighbors: Europe, North Africa’, according to the same source.
