Day-to-Day money market rate (MMR) fell well below the key rate (7.75%) to stand at 7.67%, on January 29, 2020.
This decrease is attributed particularly to the fall in the overall volume of refinancing of banks with the Central Bank to 10.37 billion dinars.
It should be recalled that the BCT had decided, at the end of December 2017, to widen the corridor (permanent credit facility rate to 24 hours) by +/-100 basis points in relation to the key rate.
