Tunisia: Ennakl’s debt and financial costs rise

Ennakl Automobiles’ revenues increased by 33.83%, at the end of the first nine months of 2023, compared with the same period in 2022, rising from TND 331,383 million at September 30, 2022 to TND 443,489 million at September 30, 2023, with a 45.6% increase in the last quarter.

The company’s net cash position rose by TND 15.4 million compared to the same period in 2022, rising from TND 14.354 million to TND 29.788 million at September 30, 2023.

Financial expenses increased from TND 2.760 million at 30 September 2022 to 5,422 MTD at 30 September 2023, mainly due to the increase in discounting costs. The total financial debt (short term loan, long term loan and a short-term financing loan) increased from a balance of TND 5.966 million in 2022 to a balance of TND 26.465 million at September 30, 2023 following the signature of a new short-term loan contract for TND 20 million.
