Public Export-Import Bank Eximbank Hungary will open a branch in Tunisia this summer, Levente Magyar, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, responsible for foreign trade and economic diplomacy said on the sidelines of a signing ceremony between the two countries last Friday in Tunis .
The opening of this representation will strengthen efforts to bring the two countries’ economies closer and help contribute to financing projects in Tunisia through loan granting, Magyar said.
“We will identify specific areas of common interest in order to realize joint projects and further strengthen our cooperation,” he pointed out.
The Hungarian State Secretary visited Tunisia on the sidelines of the 3rd Session of the Tunisian-Hungarian Joint Economic Commission (March 10 and 11, 2016) and the Tunisian-Hungarian business forum.
