Exports of organic olive oil in the governorate of Kasserine are expected to increase this year especially to the French market, said president of the agricultural services co-operative in the delegation of Majel Bel Abbes.
The co-operative will export 31 tons of organic olive oil to the French market, in accordance with an agreement reached with its French counterpart against 17.5 tons last year, he said.
The increase in the quantities exported is due in particular to the improvement of organic olive oil production in the governorate which has risen from 150 to 220 tons between 2016 and 2017, said the same source.
