Tunisia: foreign currency reserves drop again

Tunisia’s net foreign currency assets, as of September 25, 2018, decreased to 11,743 MD, or 75 days of import against 78 previously, according to figures published on the official website of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT).

As of September 20, 2018, the net assets in foreign currency stood at TD 12.229 billion, representing 78 days of imports.

This rise in reserves by 9 days in a time is owed to the 500 MUSD granted by the World Bank, already in the coffers of the BCT.
