Tunisia is the fourth medium-haul destination for the French in November 2013, after Spain , Morocco, Italy and ahead of the UK, according to the French market barometer published by the French Travel Agents Association (SNAV).
The Tunisian market experienced a 54% decline in the number of French travellers in November 2013, said the source, which reported, in terms of medium-haul booking, an absence of Tunisia in the top 5 travel trends in French.
According to the barometer SNAV, 38% of French who visited Tunisia last November have had a long stay of over 20 nights, 45% of whom spent less nights, i.e. from 5 to 12 nights and 10% had a long stay in the country ranging from 13 to 20 nights.
