The rate of growth of the Tunisian economy fell to -0.1% in the third quarter (Q3) 2015 compared to the same period in 2014, announced the National Statistics Institute (INS).
Data of Q3 2015 show a slight increase in GDP, which reached 0.1%, against 0.7% in Q2 2015.
The growth rate reached 0.7% in the first nine months 2015, according to data released by the INS.
The Institute explained the decline in the growth rate by lower added value of manufacturing industries (5.2%) and non-manufacturing industries (3.9%) in Q3 2015.
