The Tunisian Government is studying investment offers made by investors from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for the tourism project of Hergla, estimated at 308 million U.S. dollars, reports the economic website Zawya.

The 450-hectare project includes hotels, restaurants, residential units and parks.

It will be launched in Hergla, said Youssef Bouhlel, Director General of Productive Services at the Ministry of Regional Development and Planning.

The project of Hergla is promoted by the Tunisian government as a global tourist destination and a site for second homes. It is located near Hammamet.
