The number of tourists who visited Tunisia in the first five months of this year reached 1,906. 382, i.e. up 48.4% over the corresponding period of 2011 and down 13.6% over the same period of 2010.
During this period, Tunisia hosted about 1,097.255 Maghreb tourists, including 813,476 Libyans who occupied the top spot, followed by Europeans with 755,401 visitors and 14,285 tourists from the Middle East.
At the last place we find the North Americans with 12,366 tourists.
