Tunisia increases prices of petroleum products

The Ministry of Industry announced in a statement Monday night that starting Tuesday, March 5 at midnight, the selling prices of petroleum products to the public shall be increased as follows:

Unleaded gasoline: 1.570 Dinar / Liter

Diesel: 1.170 Dinar / liter

Gasoil 50ppm: 1.400 Dinar / liter

LPG vehicles: 698 millimes/ liter

Heavy fuel oil No. 2: 480 dinars / ton

The prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and domestic kerosene remain unchanged, the statement indicated.

This partial increase will reduce the volume of the subsidy, planned in the State budget for 2013, bringing it from 4.7 billion dinars down to 4.2 billion dinars.
