Comoros offers 100,000 euro to back electoral process in Madagascar

 Comoros on Tuesday said it would donate 100,000 Euro towards the electoral process in Madagascar.

This was announced by Mohamed Bakri Ben Abdoulfatah, Comoros minister of Foreign Relations and Cooperation, during a visit to Mauritius.

The first round of the often postponed presidential election in Madagascar will be held on 8 May while the second round would be on 3 July 2013. The parliamentary election will be held on 25 September 2013.
