Two gas turbines with a capacity of 240 Megawatts are being installed at Bir Mcherga.
The project is in its final phase and works will be completed before next June, Habib Nasri, CEO of STEG (Renewable Energies) told AfricanManager.
The installation of these two plants is aimed to meet the demand for electricity this summer and avoid power cuts.
