Tunisia, Japan to sign two loan agreements soon

Two loan agreements will be signed between Japan and Tunisia, during the visit that the President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency will pay to Tunisia from July 16 to 18.

The first agreement relates to the project of the Medjerda watershed protection and is estimated at 160 million dinars to control flooding in the basin.

The second project provides for building an electricity generating station in Rades. This project aims to increase the capacity of electricity supply and the reduction of carbon dioxide emission.
