The regional tourism delegation of Kebili is continuing its coordination efforts with municipal services to ensure the cleanliness of tourist routes, while also intensifying inspections of tourism establishments to guarantee the quality of services offered.
In this context, the regional delegate, Yasser Souf, stated to Mosaïque FM that regular sectoral meetings are being held with industry professionals in order to better structure and organize tourism activity in the region.
He also confirmed the continuation of sporting events scheduled for 2026, emphasizing their key role in promoting the region through several rallies and other activities.
He further noted that several tour operators and foreign media outlets of various nationalities, particularly Japanese, Canadian, French, Russian, and Serbian, were hosted between February and April, in order to promote the destination and strengthen its international visibility.
Finally, he reported that the region recorded 36,340 overnight stays and 31,271 arrivals between January 1 and April 30 of the current year, indicators he considers encouraging for local tourism.
