The website Tustex.com reports that an agreement authorizing the marketing of prestigious British brand vehicles have been signed for the benefit of the Meninx OIS Company of the Tamarziste Group.
MG, British motoring icon founded in the UK in 1924, was bought in 2007 by SAIC (Shanghai Automotive Industrial Corporation), Volkswagen and General Motors partner in China.
The project aims to market the full range of MG vehicles adapted to the needs of Tunisian consumers starting with the MG3 and MG6 models in 2015.
The project involves the deployment of a distribution network covering the whole country by 2018 as well as an assembly unit in 2016 for the local and export market in the region.
According to Mr. Walid El Haj Mabrouk (General Manager of Meninx OIS), the opening of the first showroom in Carthage Avenue is planned for the next semester.
