The Tunisian Minister of Economy and Finance, Hakim Ben Hammouda, on Monday painted a gloomy financial picture for the north African country, saying that domestic and foreign investors are still hesitating in doing business.
Saying that the nation’s financial situation will be “tougher in 2015”, Hammouda said that the overall financial situation in the country “has not improved” despite measures taken by the Tunisian government regarding the management of debts and austerity.
He said the fight against smuggling and increased transparency are the main solutions adopted by Tunisia to put an end to the crisis.
