The average money market rate rose to 6.60%, in May after having stagnated at 6.26% during the months of March and April.
This rise is the result of the increase in the key rate of the Central Bank of Tunisia by 0.75 percentage point decided by the Executive Board of the bank on May 17.
The average money market rate stood at 6.25% in February and 6.19% in January 2022, according to the BCT.
