More than 3,000 foreign companies are operating in Tunisia. They employ about 330,000 employees. There are 1,193 French companies. A thousand of them are active in the Tunisian industrial fabric. Nearly half are present in the area of clothing and footwear.
More than a quarter operate in the sectors of mechanical, electrical and electronic industries, foreign sources reported.
Nearly 200 French service companies are also present in Tunisia. They generate more than 16,000 jobs, particularly in the development of call centers, research and consulting offices and IT services companies.
