Tunisia buys 175,000 tons of grain (traders)

Tunisia’s state grains agency is believed to have purchased about 100,000 tons of soft wheat and 75,000 tons of animal feed barley in an international tender on Thursday, European traders said.

Traders were quoted by Reuters as saying they believed the soft wheat was bought in four 25,000-ton consignments at the lowest price of $381.86 a ton c&f.

The Tunisian Grain Board bought about 100,000 tons of soft wheat and 75,000 tons of feed barley in an international tender on Thursday, according to European traders, cited by financial website Nasdaq.

The traders said they believed the soft wheat was purchased in four lots of 25,000 tons at the lowest price of $381.86 per c&f ton.
