More than two million foreigners seek medical treatment each year in Tunisia, where medical tourism is one of the few thriving sectors in a flagging economy.
According to official figures from the Ministry of Health, Tunisia ranks first in Africa in terms of both demand and supply.
Medical tourism in our country is considered one of the most promising sectors, with seven spas with mineral waters, 60 thalassotherapy centers and more than 340 freshwater spas.
