Tunisia: National crude oil production down 11% by end October 2025

National crude oil production stood at 1,006 kilotons (kt) by the end of October 2025, posting an 11% decline compared with end-October 2024, according to the “Economic Situation (October 2025)” report published by the National Observatory of Energy and Mines.

This downturn affected most oil fields, notably Ashtart (-28%), Nawara (-41%), Barka (-82%), Adem (-17%), Gherib (-20%), El Hajeb/Guebiba (-13%), El Borma (-4%), Halk El Manzel (-11%), and Miskar (-7%).

However, production improved in several fields, including Ezzaouia (+45%), Gremda/El Ain (+370%), D.S.T (+35%), Bir Ben Tartar (+3%), and Cercina (+1%).

Average daily oil production declined from 29.1 thousand barrels per day at the end of October 2024 to 25.6 thousand barrels per day by the end of October 2025, according to the same source.
