Nearly 40,000 tourists arrived at Monastir airport last week, up nearly 100 percent over the same period last year, the airport’s general manager Anis Jamour told Jawhara FM.
The official confirmed, among other things, the return of tourists from Russia, the Czech Republic, Poland and the Italian market.
“All means are deployed to welcome tourists in the best conditions and to ensure the return of Tunisians living abroad,” he added.
