Tunisia’s net foreign currency reserves reached 15,055 MTD, i.e. the equivalent of 129 days of imports, at end-January 2015, against 112 days at the end of last year, noted the Executive Board of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) at its meeting Monday, February 2, 2015.
BCT explained this increase by the intensification of external financing mobilization efforts, where net inflows of foreign capital amounted to 9 billion dinars in 2014.
