Tunisia: New Body Line still debt-free and sales up 9.4

The production of parts by the company listed on the Tunis Stock Exchange, New Body Line (NBL), increased by 12.56% in the 4th quarter of 2023, with a total volume of 144,228 parts produced and sold compared to 128,130 parts for the same period in 2022. 

During this period, NBL also recorded a decrease in basic products (-49.24%) and an increase in technical products (116.57%).

In terms of turnover, NBL achieved a figure of TND 1,746,631 in the fourth quarter of 2023, compared with TND 1,596,295 for the same period in 2022, an increase of 9.42%.

In 2023, the Rjeb and Sfar family business (Karim and Nessim) achieved a turnover of TND 6,580,219 compared to TND 5,448,439 in 2022, an increase of around 21%.

It is important to note that NBL’s debt to LMT remains at zero and that it has a large cash surplus generating substantial investment income.
