The number of tourists visiting Tunisia to the end of November 2016 reached 5,190 million, which corresponds to a 4.7% increase compared to the same period of 2015, said Minister of Tourism, Selma Elloumi Rekik.
Speaking at a plenary session currently being held at the parliament to discuss the budget of her department, the minister added that this growth affected certain markets including the Algerian market (16.7% ), Russian and Tunisians residing abroad (2.6%).
In the same context, overnight stays reached 16.924 million, up 10.4%. Earning have reached 2,100 million dinars until November 20, i.e. the same figure as in 2015.
