The OneTech Holding (OTH) Group’s financial results for the first half of the year show resilience in the face of a turbulent economic environment, both nationally and internationally.
The industrial group’s interim consolidated financial statements for the six months to June 30 show a net profit attributable to the group of 21.5 million dinars, compared with 5.4 million dinars in the first half of 2022, an increase of around 300%.
Profits for the first six months of the year were 1.5 times higher than for the whole of last year.
This excellent performance is the result of the combined effect of higher revenues and tight control of operating costs. Group revenues increased by 14% to 592.5 million dinars compared to 519 million dinars at the end of June.
Revenues from exports amounted to 506.5 million dinars (+11%), while revenues from local sales totaled 83.7 million dinars (+36%).
Operating expenses rose from 502.7 million dinars in June 2002 to 558.2 million dinars last June, an increase of 11%, of which 446.8 million dinars were spent on the purchase of materials and 56.2 million dinars on personnel costs.
As a result, operating profit for the period rose sharply by 101% to 35.2 million dinars, compared to 17.5 million dinars in the first half of last year.
