Tunisia: Ooredoo’s turnover increases by 1% in local currency in 2017

The turnover of Ooredoo Tunisia has decreased to 127.5 million Kuwaiti dinars, or 1,031 million Tunisian dinars during the financial year ended December 31, 2017 against 142.3 million Kuwaiti dinars, or 1,151 million dinars for the same period in 2016.

EBITDA was 50.5 million Kuwaiti dinars, the equivalent of 408 million TND against 57.0 million Kuwaiti dinars, or 461 million dinars in 2016.

The Tunisian dinar depreciated by 11% year-on-year. In terms of local currency, sales increased by 1% in 2017, said the parent company of the mobile operator.

The customer base in Tunisia reached 8.4 million at the end of 2017, up 5% over the previous year, according to the same source
