Tunisia: Poulina enters capital of Attijari Bank

In a large block transaction, which involved just over half a million (544,192) shares of Attijari Bank, at a unit price of 50.5 dinars and a total of around 27 MD, the Poulina Group has just signed its entry into the banking sector.

This block transaction, which though represents only 1.34% of the total number of TSE-listed shares that would have been made between Poulina and the Horchani group whose last transaction was the sale of BH shares, it intervenes after another acquisition of Poulina in the SFBT group, where it had invested 155.1 MD to take 4.08% of the first Tunisian brewer.

The 2017 financial statements of Attijari Bank reported 362 million dinars, up 14.2%, and a record of deposits of more than 6 billion dinars.

At June 2017, the net result was 51,052 MD, after the 107,077 MD for the whole of 2016
