Tunisia: private Investment in agriculture edges up 15.4%

Private investment in the agricultural sector posted an increase of about 15.4%, valued at 85.9 million Tunisian dinars (MTD) by the end of March 2015, against 74.5 MTD in the same period in 2014, according to the latest figures from the Agency for the promotion of agricultural investment (APIA).

The main governorates that have benefited from these investments are Kasserine 13.3 MTD, Beja with 7.9 MTD and Sidi Bouzid 6.9 MTD.
