The production of white cement reached 141,000 tons during the first four months of 2015 compared with 160,000 tons in the same period in 2014, down 11.5%.
According to Taoufik Khardani, Deputy Director of construction materials industries at the Ministry of Industry, the sold quantity of white cement has reached 59,000 tons against 64,500 tons, which corresponds to a decline by 8.8%
On the international level, 87,400 tons of white cement were exported against 102,400 tons in 2014.
