CEO of Tunisair, Sarra Rajeb, Friday, told the Parliamentary Committee of Finance under the House of People’s Representatives (HPR), the company’s recovery program requires the mobilization of 140 MTD and the amount of 30 MTD already mobilized not enough to conduct this operation.
She added, in the same context, that the number of agents to be laid off has been reduced from 1700 to only 1000, after studies were developed and experiences were learnt from other similar companies.
Tunisair does not have sufficient financial resources to carry out the entire layoff operation, she reiterated.
On another level, the CEO of Tunisair said the company “Tunisia Catering” resumes Friday assistance to Tunisair.
