Tunisia: SAH Lilas reports net profit of 22 million dinars in H1 2025

La Société d’Articles Hygiéniques (SAH), known by the brand name Lilas, has published its interim financial statements for June 30, 2025, showing a net profit of 22.3 million dinars (MD), up from the 20.4 MD achieved in the same period of 2024.

The half-year revenue stood at 220.5 MD, slightly down from the 222.9 MD recorded a year earlier.

Local sales represent the majority of the income (193.1 MD), while exports reached 31.6 MD, down from 39.9 MD in June 2024.

Despite this decline, the company improved its operational profitability: the operating result came in at 31.6 MD, compared to 33.7 MD in the first half of 2024.

This performance is explained notably by a decrease in the consumption of raw materials and packaging, which fell from 141 MD to 124 MD.

In contrast, personnel expenses increased from 25.4 MD to 29 MD.

On the financial side, net financial charges were reduced to 10.3 MD, compared to 12.5 MD a year earlier, contributing to the improvement of the pre-tax result, which amounted to 24.2 MD.

After accounting for tax and social contributions, the net profit stands at 22.3 MD.

With earnings per share of 0.27 dinar, compared to 0.24 dinar a year earlier, SAH Lilas confirms its resilience despite a context marked by declining exports and pressure on expenses.
