The precarious security situation in the country, as well as political and economic conditions are behind the fall of stock market indices, Adel Grar, President of the Association of Securities Brokers told Africanmanager on the sidelines of a conference held Tuesday on stock market offenses.
The Tunindex had continued to fall Monday due mainly to the events of Mount Chaambi.
Adel Grar also said that the financial markets cannot be 100% Tunisian and it basically works by the intervention of foreign investors.
He added that today, the stock market is facing an increasing difficulty to attract foreign investors.
