The “Société Moderne de Céramique”, SOMOCER, has just published its individual financial statements as of December 31, 2017 as they will be submitted to the approval of the Ordinary General Meeting to be held on June 5, 2018.
The company has multiplied its net profit by five in 2017 compared to 2016 from 795 thousand dinars to 4 million dinars.
This performance is mainly due to the 27% increase in the company’s revenues which reached 85.6 million dinars in 2017.
As for the operating expenses, they amounted to 72.9 million dinars against 58.7 million a year earlier, a growth of 24.2%.
In this respect, the Company’s operating income increased by 48% to 12.6 million dinars against 8.5 million in 2016.
In addition, net financial charges stagnated almost steadily compared to 2016 to stand at 8.8 million dinars.
