The “Société Tunisienne d’Email” (SOTEMAIL) has published its interim financial statements as of June 30, 2022. These statements show a net loss of 3.1 million dinars, against a net loss of 2.2 million at the end of June 2021.
The manufacturer of ceramic tiles, faience and sandstone has achieved a turnover of 31.4 million dinars in the first half of the current year, against 25.7 million a year earlier, a growth of 22%.
These revenues come from local sales for 26.4 million dinars and export sales for 5.3 million dinars, up 416%.
As for operating expenses, they went up from 23.5 million dinars to 31.7 million between June 2021 and June 2022, an increase of 34%.
The operating result of the period is almost balanced to 35 thousand dinars, from an operating surplus of 2.2 million dinars in the first half of 2021.
However, the company faces net financial charges which continue to weigh on the results of SOTEMAIL and amount to 3.4 million dinars on June 30, 2022.
