In a very difficult economic climate, SOTEMAIL recorded a 12% drop in total sales to TND 56.5 million in 2023.
Sales on the local market fell by 11% to TND 48.2 million, while export sales declined by 20% to TND 8.3 million.
Production decreased by 14% to TND 49.4 million in 2022.
Investments amounted to TND 2.8 million, up 65%. In addition, bank liabilities (balance sheet liabilities) amounted to TND 40 million, at December 31, 2023, compared to TND 31.5 million at the end of 2022, an increase of 27% due to a change in the mix of short-term liabilities between balance sheet and off-balance sheet liabilities.
Long- and medium-term debt represented 37% of total balance sheet commitments at December 31, 2023.
